Peter N. Georgiades – Of Counsel

Biography:  Peter Georgiades joined Wayman, Irvin & McAuley, LLC in an of counsel capacity in June 2018.  A 1977 graduate of the National Law Center of the George Washington  University, he practiced in Washington D.C. for three years before moving home to Pittsburgh, where he has lived ever since.  Peter has earned an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest possible rating for ethics and professional competence.

Peter has been in litigation practice for more than 40 years, gaining extensive experience in the areas of non-compete and non-disclosure agreements;  wage payment and collection law;  land use, eminent domain and zoning;  commercial disputes (especially those involving fraud or breach of fiduciary duty), and various forms of trespass.   In addition, Peter has also frequently assisted out-of-state counsel with litigation matters in state and federal courts in Western Pennsylvania in a local counsel capacity.
